Wasp Nest Removal Chesterfield

If you have wasps flying in and out of the same spot, there's a good chance there's an active nest nearby. Common places I find them are lofts, eaves, wall cavities, sheds, garages, rooflines, bushes and garden buildings.
How much it costs
Standard wasp nest treatment is £60.
Additional nests on the same visit are £25 each.
Hornet nests are treated at the same price.
If the treated nest is still active after I've left, I'll come back and check it at no extra cost.
How quickly I can get to you
In wasp season (roughly May through to October) I aim to attend within 24 hours. Same-day visits are often possible if you call early. Call Norma on 07398 674924 to book.
How the treatment works
The important part is treating the active nest properly, so the wasps carry the insecticide back through the nest and kill the queen. A can of shop-bought spray won't do that. It kills the wasps you can see and leaves the nest producing more.
I wear a full bee suit on every wasp job. That means I can get close to the nest safely and treat it properly, even when it's in an awkward spot.
When I arrive I check:
- where the wasps are getting in and out
- whether the nest is in a loft, eaves, wall cavity, shed or garden
- whether you or your pets are at risk during treatment
- the safest place to apply the treatment
- whether there's more than one nest
Once treated, activity usually drops off as the nest dies. You may still see wasps flying around for a short time after I leave. That's normal. It's returning wasps coming back to the nest entrance and picking up the treatment.
Do not block the entry hole straight away. Blocking it too early can push wasps inside the property, especially when the nest is in a wall cavity, loft or roofline. Leave it alone for a few days and let the treatment do its work.
