How We Treat a Wasp Nest

The important part is treating the active nest properly, so the wasps carry the insecticide back through the nest.
On arrival, we check:
  •  where the wasps are entering
  •  whether the nest is in a loft, eaves, wall cavity, shed or garden area
  •  whether people or pets are at risk
  •  the safest place to apply the treatment
  •  whether there is more than one nest

Once treated, wasp activity normally reduces as the nest dies off.

You may still see wasps flying for a short time after treatment. This can happen when returning wasps come back to the nest entrance.

Do not block the entrance straight away.

Blocking the hole too early can push wasps into the property, especially if the nest is in a wall cavity, loft or roofline.

If activity continues after treatment, we will return and check the nest for Free.
